HUMAN RESOURCE COORDINATOR
Prairie Hills Transit has a long history of engaged and productive employees, and we’re looking for a Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to continue the tradition.  The ideal candidate will have prior experience in HR, with a thorough understanding of HR policy and procedures. 
The majority of the role will be to manage employee orientations, benefits administration, compensation, and the random Drug and Alcohol program to ensure compliance and conflict resolution. The position will require updates to Role Summaries, job postings, Interview questions, and other required policy guidance.  There is a great opportunity for developing and refining systems. 
We are eager to find an HR manager who easily connects with people and has a detail-oriented mindset to handle the changing nature of the workforce.  Currently responsible for 65-70 full-time and part-time employees working in sixteen individual communities.  Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and/or two years’ experience preferred.  Generous benefit package.

DISPATCHER FULL-TIME - Spearfish

The Dispatch team in Spearfish answers the telephone and communicates with drivers through two-way radios. The Dispatcher must be courteous, timely, and professional when greeting callers, and gather specific information needed to schedule pick-ups/drop-offs for manifest completion in multiple communities.  The Dispatcher will evaluate passenger requests and schedule transport by entering data into the computerized dispatch system using available vehicles and personnel. Must have excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.  Knowledge of Windows-based computers with Microsoft Office applications preferred.  Requires a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.  Click here to apply online

FACILITY AND GROUNDS COORDINATOR
Prairie Hills Transit has a long history of engaged productive employees.  We are looking for a person who values teamwork and enjoys an environment of growth and change.  The Facility and Grounds Coordinator (FGC) is responsible for completing building inspections of the seven bus garages in the PHT service area, addressing repairs indoors and out, and ensuring the grounds are maintained.  The FGC must have computer skills to complete forms and records.  Preference is given to applicants who are proficient in computer drawings.  The FGC will assist in project management and be able to follow the regulatory requirements of the SDDOT.  Will be able to manage outside contracts with construction and repair contractors as well as snow removal companies.  Must have the physical ability to run equipment such as hand tools, snow blowers, snow plows, lawnmowers, skid-steer loaders, and other related machinery. The FGC may be required to work in inclement weather with fluctuating temperatures and varying precipitation levels. Must be able to work under time pressures and meet deadlines. Must be willing to comply with the random drug/alcohol testing according to established policy.

PART-TIME DRIVER - Hot Springs and Edgemont
Join the Prairie Hills Transit team and get paid to be a vital part of your community.  Provides transportation for all ages and mobility needs during a daytime schedule. The Driver must be able to safely and efficiently transport riders and perform requests for services as required. The Driver's job specifications requirements are to read, write, and hear clearly and can stoop, lift, bend, and push wheelchairs.
